Monika Waijoo Pradhan

Finance & Administrative Assistant Monika Waijoo Pradhan is COMMITTED’s  Finance &  Administrative Assistant. She previously worked as an Account Assistant at V.S Niketan School for ten years and as an Admin Executive at Nepal Placement Agency for four years. She is currently pursuing Bachelors in Business Studies and loves cooking  as well as travelling.

Renuka Dhakal

Field Program Associate Renuka Dhakal is our Field Program Associate based in Kalika Municipality, Chitwan. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Tribhuvan University. She previously worked as a social mobilizer for two years in child trafficking with Forget Me Not Australia and was also given the opportunity to gain knowledge on disability and inclusion while working with Better Chitwan. She also volunteers in her local Leo and Jaycees club and other Nepali communities when possible.  She enjoys travelling, dancing and singing!

Ritima Pradhan

Executive Director Ritima has been associating with COMMITTED since inception as a Board Member. She is also one of the founding members of both COMMITTED US and Nepal. As of July 2017, she is the Executive Director of COMMITTED (Nepal) and manages the daily operations of the organization. Ritima has an extensive professional career of more than 25 years working in the fields of management, finance and IT. She started her career in Nepal selling computers for almost a decade. She then worked in the US specializing in federal accounting and US payroll system for about a decade and finally moved back to Nepal and worked at Swisscontact as the Sr. Administrative and HR Officer for almost 3 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Decision Science and Management and Information Systems (DSMIS) from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. Apart from managing the office, she also likes to manage her garden and has a passion for cooking.

Shobha Khadka

Program/ Office Assistant Shobha is one of the oldest staff members of COMMITTED and has helped the organization since the starting days of 2006. Being a local of Sindhupalchowk, she has been a vital connection for our projects in Sindhupalchowk district and has helped coordinate many projects in the local level. Currently, she is the Program/ Office Assistant at COMMITTED and supports the program staffs. She is a graduate of Shree Thangpaldhap Secondary School and continuing her further studies at Ratna Rajya Campus in Kathmandu, pursuing Bachelors in Arts degree.

Yogendra Chapagain

Project Manager Yogendra Chapagain is our Project Manager based in Kathmandu for the DID TO53 project. His role is to ensure effective and efficient programmatic and financial delivery of DID T053. Having more than eight years of experience in the development sector and education projects, Yogendra has good technical knowledge and skills in education and governance system. He is also proficient in data management and analysis. He has Master's degree in Education and Rural Development from Tribhuvan University and currently pursuing M.Phil. in Education Studies from Nepal Open University. He is also the project’s safeguarding and GESI focal person. He enjoys critical writing, research, and social work. He loves music and enjoys cooking!
